Even should be compatible with T430, it isn't. I had to remove, plastic cover to by able replace DVD mechanic. But disk is not visible to the system anyway. Due low price I have not returned goods. It seems that they bay replacement are kind of lottery.

It does not work for the T430. The black cover does not match the hole in the Laptop. Also, it is not fixed by the laptop tab, so it leaves its place.
