I have used these before with a MKS Gen L 2.1 board in 3d printers. Just add the jumper into the correct places as shown, put the stepper in making sure that you have them the correct way and current and steps are automatically set up for you. They work very well and make your machine very quiet. A perfect upgrade for most 3d printers at a very reasonable price.
